The National Theatre Abu Dhabi, 2018

Client: Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi National Theatre is one of the oldest theatre’s in the region, built by the renowned Iraqi architect, Rifat Chidarji. The building offers a vast auditorium that can seat 2,253 audience members.

This project proposes to reactivate the space by transforming an empty plot of land facing the front of the theatre into a beautiful park attracting visitors across the Emirate.
